Daytime inspections expanded by South East Railways
Following on from the leadership merger between Southeastern and the regions infrastructure provider, Network Rail Kent Route last month, which was subsequently named South East Railways, a new approach to its railway maintenance inspections has been announced as one of its first initiatives.

Challenging year for nationalised DOHL operators
DfT OLR Holdings Limited (DOHL) the company which runs the nationalised train operators on behalf of the Department for Transport has released its annual report, showing it was a challenging year for performance as well as showing slow progress in cutting the subsidies paid for each of the four operators that it currently runs.
