Greater Anglia says it will provide an at-seat trolley service on Norwich-London inter-city trains on Sundays, reversing a decision taken in December to withdraw the facility on some early morning Monday-Saturday trains and all trains on Sundays.

“Following a review, we are pleased to be able to confirm that we will continue to provide on-train catering on our inter-city services on Sundays,” said a GA spokesman.

“We continue to provide catering on the majority of our inter-city services throughout the week. Our new inter-city trains have been built with a cafe bar, so we can provide a cafe bar service or an at-seat trolley service or both.”
