Bright sunshine greeted the crowds attending Rail Live 2025, which got under way today (June 18).
More than 10,000 people registered to attend the event, at Porterbrook’s Long Marston Rail Innovation Centre.
Attractions included Network Rail’s maintenance train and one of the latest members of the Class 93s to arrive in the UK (93007).
Seminar discussions on subjects including devolution, open access, electrification, rail reform and rolling stock strategies were all set to take place during the two-day event.
