RAIL Live is delighted to reveal British Steel as this year’s headline partner for sustainability for this year’s event which takes place between 18-19 June at Porterbook's Long Marston Rail Innovation Centre in Warwickshire.
RAIL Live is the UK’s largest outdoor rail exhibition, with over 7,000 attending the event in 2024 and is the home to innovation, discussion and over 300 exhibitors.
And this year, RAIL Live promises to be bigger than ever. Live demonstrations, and two theatres dedicated to discussion with some of the biggest names in the industry in both policy and engineering.
Sustainability is one of the key focuses of this year’s event with several talks and demonstrations dedicated to the topic, including coverage on climate resilience, alternative energy and sustainable engineering all featuring. All reasons as to why British Steel wanted to be involved in this year’s event as British Steel’s Commercial Director, Rail Craig Harvey explains:
“As the UK’s only manufacturer of rail, we are delighted to be working in partnership with Rail Live and to be sponsoring this year’s event. It promises to be a superb event, and we’re looking forward to showcasing how we’re building a sustainable future for our business, our employees, our customers, and the communities in which we operate.”
RAIL Live is also the headline sponsor of Rail Safety Week which coincides with RAIL Live, beginning on June 16 and running to June 22 with plenty of events happening at RAIL Live to highlight the important role that rail safety still has to play in today’s rail industry.
