London Northwestern Railway has extended its £1 ticket offer on the Marston Vale Line between Bletchley and Bedford until November, “due to overwhelming demand”.
The special fare was introduced in February to mark the return of a full train service after more than a year of bus replacements. It has been taken up by more than 40,000 passengers on the 16-mile line.
