CrossCountry has confirmed the appointment of its new Managing Director.
CrossCountry has confirmed the appointment of its new Managing Director.
Shiona Rolfe will take up her position from March 1, joining from Amazon where she was in charge of the fulfilment operation in South West England and West Yorkshire.
Rolfe also spent more than 14 years at Royal Mail, working her way up to the position as Service Delivery Director, Southern Region.
“I am excited to be joining the CrossCountry team and am looking forward to working with colleagues to deliver high-quality rail services across the many communities that we serve,” she said.
“At a time when the rail sector is undergoing significant change, CrossCountry is committed to improving its services to meet the needs of its passengers and serving as a trusted partner to government”.
CrossCountry’s remedial plan with the Department for Transport, which was put in place to improve services, runs until March.

Interim Managing Director Scott Maynard will stand down following a transition period over the next few weeks.
