A before-and-after video published by Network Rail reveals the poor condition of Gauxholme Viaduct on the Calder Valley route, before its recently completed £3.7 million repairs.
The 181-year-old Grade 2-listed structure at Todmorden, designed by George Stephenson, has been cleared of vegetation, while the steelwork section over the Rochdale Canal has been repaired and repainted in dark grey.
