GWR line closes for track renewals

Great Western Railway’s services on the ‘Berks and Hants’ route through Newbury face ongoing disruption until May. 

The Bedwyn Trains Passenger Group warns that track renewals will result in the cancellation of all trains between Pewsey and Theale from February 18 to March 2. Further blockades will take place across many weekends until the middle of May. 

Additionally, engineering work will take place between Westbury and Taunton from April 30 to May 3. All through trains will be cancelled.
