More Railway Family Prize Draw raffle prizes for the RAIL Ukraine Appeal supporting British Ukrainian-Aid (RAIL 962) have been announced by National Rail Awards judge Natasha Hanson and Freightliner driver Heather Waugh. They are being donated by:
■ ScotRail: Rare cab ride over one of the world’s most scenic railway lines - the West Highland Line.
■ Avanti West Coast: Again, an extremely rare opportunity - a cab ride in a Pendolino!
■ British Transport Police: Experience Day with BTP Dog Academy.
■ Bessie Matthews: Author and illustrator of Arlo’s Adventures, and the wonderful creator of ‘Bessie’s Ballasts’ from 2021, providing rare original drawings, and a specially commissioned ballast piece!
For every £10 you donate, you will be allocated a Prize Draw number. For example, if you donate £30 you will receive three prize draw numbers. You can enter as many times as you wish, and to any value.
You will receive your number via an email from the Go Fund Me Page. Similarly, there is the option to donate and not be entered into the Prize Draw if you simply wanted to contribute. Just indicate this in the comments section when donating.
Donations can be made through https://gofund.me/c4fbf4e7. Winners will be revealed on September 15, through a live feed on Twitter (@RailwayFamilyR1) at RAIL’s National Rail Awards. Winners will also be directly contacted.
It’s a great way to feel a part of the awards from inside the Great Hall itself or from your home!
