Angel Trains acquires Readypower

Angel Trains has acquired rail operated asset and infrastructure provider Readypower.

The company, which operates from six hubs around the UK and provides specialist on-track plant equipment and civil engineering services, will continue to run as an independent business with its brand and management teams remaining in place.

Angel Trains said the deal would cement its commitment to investing in rail assets in the UK, and that it would be supporting Readypower’s continued growth by investing in the latest machinery and technology.

Angel Trains has been investing in innovative and sustainable rolling stock to modernise and improve UK rail for a long time, meeting the evolving needs of today’s passengers. The acquisition of Readypower Group, the specialist rail and infrastructure services provider, by Angel Trains prove that the two competent and experienced companies are complementary businesses indeed with a singular focus on supporting the UK rail network.
