Rail Live attracted more than 7,000 people this year, with a 2% year-on-year increase in visitor numbers.
This year's event was, as ever, held at Porterbrook's Long Marston Innovation Centre, which is undergoing major changes at present. Day two was held on the hottest day of 2025 so far with temperatures reaching 29C.
Speakers at this year's event included Network Rail Chief Executive, Sir Andrew Haines; Director General, Rail Services at the Department for Transport, Alex Hynes; former HM Chief Inspector of Railways and Director, Double O Safety Consulting, Ian Prosser and Ben Ackroyd, Chief Operating Officer, Porterbrook.
Attractions at Rail Live included Rail Operation Group 93007, the Porterbrook HydroFLEX unit and Network Rail's maintenance train.
