NRM exhibits Eurostar ‘373’

Eurostar Class 373 power car 3308 entered the National Railway Museum collection on August 6. The power car is believed to be the first addition to the National Collection whose class is still in frontline service with its original operator.

The ‘373s’ are still in use on Eurostar services, supplemented by a new Siemens-built fleet. Power car 3308 was a regional power car stabled at North Pole depot and used for spares, and was not used for Eurostar services.

Wonderful to see that Eurostar have given NRM a bit of history. Trouble is, where do they display it?
