TV advert launched to promote family rail travel

A television campaign has been launched to encourage families to travel by train this spring.

Thameslink and Great Northern have made a TV advert to promote travel on the Great Northern route. The advert suggests that parents can prevent their children from becoming ‘boredom monsters’ during the school holidays by travelling by train to visit tourist attractions.

Chief Operating Officer for TGSN Dyan Crowther said: “Kids travel from just £2, and with 2FOR1 entry on a range of family attractions, there is plenty of fun to be had all around the network.”
