Romic looks set to keep the two Class 20s it recently purchased from Michael Owen and has announced that Dereham on the Mid-Norfolk Railway will be their new base.

The two locomotives (20007/205) arrived there on May 23 and took part in the MNR’s three-day diesel event on May 24-26.

With Romic now owning 20007/205, Rail Adventure has turned to HNRC Swietelsky to hire in Class 20s as required.

On May 29, 20302/311 were used along with 43423/467 to take new Tyne & Wear units 555016/035 as the 0620 Wembley Reception-York Holgate Siding, with the Class 20s on the rear and detached at Lincoln.
