The Daventry-Mossend intermodal train, operated by Direct Rail Services, carrying goods for Tesco, was hauled by Class 68s on for trial running for the first time today (February 6).
The locomotives, 68007 Valiant and 68004 Rapid took over at Crewe for the journey to Mossend.
With 68007 leading 68004, the pair pass Bolton Le Sands heading north. PHIL METCALFE.
