Online bookings for a first ride on the Coventry Very Light Rail (CVLR) are now open.

CVLR is currently undergoing a period of on-road testing in the city, with free bookable rides available for four weeks between the end of May and the end of June (exact dates to be confirmed).

The demo track will run for 220 metres from Greyfriars Road through to Queen Victoria Road.

The vehicle will not run at full capacity during the tests. Up to 17 seated passengers will be accommodated, with spaces for wheelchair or pushchair users available.
