Hitachi shares IEP design award

Hitachi Rail Europe and DCA Design International have won a prestigious award for their work in evaluating and developing the interior design of the Class 800/801 for the Department for Transport’s InterCity Express Programme (IEP).

The US-based Human Factors and Ergonomics Society Stanley H. Caplan User-Centred Product Design Award recognises outstanding and innovative practice in product design, alongside consumer research and design methods.
