Plan in place to ease Banbury congestion

Long-standing problems with access to Banbury station look set to be resolved, after rail users, residents and businesses had their say on how new roads should be laid out.

Oxfordshire County Council wants to reduce congestion between the south of the town and the centre. This includes adding new bus stops at the station and an additional car passenger drop-off facility on Tramway Road.

Work should begin in the summer.
