Ambassador role for teenager Harry

Rail Forum Midlands has appointed Harry Burr (15) as its Young Persons Ambassador.

Burr leads Sustainable Transport Midlands, which campaigns and lobbies for service and infrastructure improvements in the West and East Midlands (RAIL 936).

According to RFM, the new role will feed into its Future Talent Advisory Group, which focuses on schools and educational engagement to encourage a more diverse group of young people into the industry.

RFM CEO Elaine Clark said: “Following Harry’s recent interview at our annual conference, it was obvious that he is a force of nature. Harry will be our Young Persons Ambassador providing a valuable insight from, and for, the next generation.”
