Siemens depot opens its doors to visitors

A public open day is being held at Siemens’ Heathrow Express depot in Acton on September 26.

Electric trains from the Heathrow Express and Heathrow Connect fleets will be on display. Visitors will be able to see how the trains work, learn about the maintenance involved, and experience sitting inside a driver’s cab.

Siemens is holding the event as part of the London Transport Museum’s open weekend. The depot will be open from 1100 to 1700 and is free to visit.

For more information, visit the Siemens Whistlestop Tour page.

Heathrow Connect's Class 360's are much better & cleaner than Abellio Greater Anglia's Class 360's and Crossrail's Class 345's are to be stored at Old Oak Common and at Ilford.
