London station bank holiday closures

Charing Cross, Waterloo East, Cannon Street and part of London Bridge station were set to have been closed over all three days of the August Bank Holiday (August 29-31), with Southeastern trains diverted to other London termini and buses replacing some services.

The closures were to allow more station modification work, with London Bridge station gradually being rebuilt platform by platform as part of the ongoing Thameslink programme.
