We are looking for a trainee rail resourcer to join our rail team. We are ideally looking for a junior resourcer, who will find it easy to be trained and get used to dealing with busy, high volume blue-collar recruitment of labour and technical skills in the areas of PTS labour, safety-critical and civils. This is a trainee position, we will provide all the training and support required to succeed in this role.

Duties
*
Assist with sourcing, screening and selecting candidates through advertising and search processes.
*
Utilising existing candidate pool.
*
Networking with potential candidates and building relationships.
*
Assist with coordinating the candidates and identifying the correct candidates for roles.
*
Conducting pre-employment checks including referencing, right to work in the UK and DBS checks.
*
Ensure all timesheets are passed to the payroll team within the required timescales.
*
Provide general administrative support to the rail team.
*
Responding to day to day queries from candidates.
*
Identify opportunities to develop business with existing clients and identify new clients.
*
Ensure KPIs set are achieved.
*
Follow and comply with company policies and procedures as well as with relevant legislation (Network rail, Health and Safety, Employment, etc).
*
On-Call Duties
*
Other ad-hoc duties.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
*
Have previous experience of working within the Rail and Construction Industry.
*
Have strong IT skills.
*
Have good organisational, administrative and communication skills.
*
Attention to detail and accuracy.
*
Ability to prioritise and escalate where necessary.
*
Time management and organisational skills.
*
Good communicator.
