I am looking for a junior engineer to join one of the worlds leading rail signalling engineering companies. To work within the systems team out of their Birmingham office getting involved with a range of works and projects
Role
You will have previous experience working in a similar role within a business in rail signalling. This role would suit a systems engineer or similar.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Participate in the delivery of Signalling systems configuration
Participate in the delivery / improvement of Signalling tools and processes
Ensure activities are delivered on time and to budget
Contribute to improvements in processes and tools within the signalling business
Ensure IRSE logbook and Authority to Work are maintained and regularly reviewed
Ensure mentorship plans are in place for mentored activities and proactively review with mentor.Essential requirements:
Ability to write software in one of the following languages
VB.NET
C#.NET
C++
Desirable:
Although not essential it would also be advantageous if you have a degree in a relevant discipline such as Engineering.
