An outstanding opportunity has arisen to join one of the leading rail organisations and play a vital role within the permanent way team. Working on a regional bank of work based from the south west involved with S+C and plain line works.


As a Technical officer the role will see you getting involved with detailed p-way works. The role includes interface with permanent way team.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Technical responsibility for pway and S+C elements of works
Advises on engineering route for permanent way across the south west ;
Involvement with tamping ;
Develops and maintains a plan of all engineer activity to meet business needs and advises on resource needs and options;
Essential requirements:

Technical officer for rail track
Background in achieving goals
