The Daniel Owen Rail Team are looking to speak with (Senior) Site Agents with a background in Rail/ Civils to work in conjunction with one of our key clients in ensuring the successful management and delivery of projects whilst maintaining high standards of health and safety, quality, social, environmental impact, and cost control.
The successful candidate will deliver multiple on-going projects to the specified quality, the required programme and to the maximum commercial performance. The post-holder will work closely with the estimating department, engineers, and surveyors to ensure that projects are completed in a safe manner whilst customer requirements and expectations are always maintained or exceeded.
Plan projects while ensuring they are programmed to a level of detail necessary for site teams to deliver projects without delays, whilst driving best value.
Ensure projects are delivered in compliance with group policies and procedures.
Sponsor tenders, attend tender handover and deliver pre-start meetings to the site teams.
Promote the highest possible standards or leadership when implementing procedures and best practice whilst ensuring compliance is in place.
Take ownership of projects, managing risk and site activities to ensure work is completed on time and within budget, to deliver work profitable and sustainable.
Ensure accurate implementation of all engineering controls and compliance with the contract drawings and specification.Qualifications and Training:
Proven ability and experience delivering Civil Engineering Projects within a Rail environment, with an ability to manage rail projects from tender to completion.
NVQ/HNC/HND/ Related Degree Level
Charter Membership (ICE or CIOB)
