Quantity Surveyor – Rail - Contract – Leeds

Buckleigh & Williams are currently searching for an intermediate Quantity Surveyor to work on a prestigious project in the heart of Leeds. Our client is working as a main contractor in the rail industry overseeing the full civils package. The contract is initially for 6 months.

Rate: Negotiable

The role in predominantly office based on site, reporting into the Senior Quantity Surveyor for the project. Duties will include collating weekly reports, valuations, variations, subcontractor procurement and subcontractor management.

The role is working on the civils element of the project, so ground work / rail / civils experience is desirable.

Skills and experience:

* NEC contract experience

* Experience with Subcontract procurement and management

* Previously worked on variations and compensation events.
