As Project Management Assistant you will work within a rail engineering team to co-ordinate the engineering team's programme, ensure that the schedule programmed concurs with the rest of the project's requirements.
As Project Management Assistant your typical activities will be:
To identify resource or time constraints on the team escalating to the Lead Engineer for resolution.
To coordinate the Systems Team discipline inputs to the various project reports collating the discipline engineers' status reports.
To assist the discipline engineers with document control issues, liaising with the document controller.
To collate Systems Teams' KPIs and other indicators as required for management reports.
Able to support the development of team budgets as required by the Lead Engineer.
A well organised and self-sufficient individual with specific experience of team coordination within a similar role.
Some relevant experience of project management.
Good communicator who is confident with liaising with all levels of an organisation.
Well versed in Microsoft Office, particularly skilled in Word and Excel.
Experience of MS Project would be an advantage, or equivalent/similar software such as Primavera P6.
A railway, transportation or construction background would be an advantageTo Apply:
