PROJECT ENGINEER - RAIL SIGNAL DESIGN - 6 MONTH CONTRACT - YORK - £439.67 PER DAY

Stride Resourcing are a recruitment partner for Network Rails contracting roles and we are currently recruiting for a Project Engineer to working on their signalling design from their York offices.

As an Engineer you will hold or be working towards a Principle Design license. You will have experience of GRIP signalling stages (this is in GRIP stage 3) and will have experience of signalling and design, as well as working with project teams, sponsors and with multi-disciplined teams.

This role is working on the Trans-Pennine Upgrade Programme and this is currently at GRIP3 stage. This is focusing on the design development stage and is focused on upgrading the line between York and Manchester Victoria stations. This includes not only signalling but bridges, flyovers, track, crossing and other infrastructure along the route. Your role is to ensure that the signalling design process is delivered as a safe and cost effective solution for the project.

This is offered initially as a 6 month contract and will be based in central York. Pay is £439.37 per day (Ltd Co / Umbrella).

We are required to obtain certain compliances for Network Rail, and this includes a DBS check and reference, as well as other items. We are not able to consider applications from those who are not eligible to work in the UK.
