Our client is looking for a motivated, experienced and results orientated Operations Manager to join them on a full-time permanent basis. This is a key role in the Service Delivery Team.
As the Operations Manager you’ll provide leadership and support to the team. You’ll oversee staff rotas to ensure that our client continues to deliver a full service to the communities that they serve.
Day to day you’ll be working in a fast-paced environment so you must be responsive and proactive to meet the challenges of this role.
The successful candidate will be the deputy to the Head of Operations and therefore must be able to:
*
play a key role in delivering and shaping the departmental strategy
*
report on operational responses to incidents
*
design, manage, and implement a program of continuous development for the team
*
oversee management of incidents on the network and provide support and guidance as required
*
liaise with managers and stakeholders to promote our client’s service first ethos
*
review and implement operational plans
*
be responsible for planning
*
schedule alternative arrangements
*
plan and organise meetings
*
provide clear and detailed board reports
*
identify trends that impact on performance, and make recommendations for improvements
*
review, develop and implement policies and procedures
*
lead and assist the Operations Planner, in creating and implementing duties and rosters for all operational staff
*
work with Stakeholders to develop timetable and roster options
*
participate in design review process with stakeholders
*
be part of the on-call roster
