Our client is a major strategic rail programme, designed to transform connectivity between the key economic centres of the North. The programme promises radical changes in service patterns and target journey times. Northern Powerhouse Rail would link the North’s six main cities and Manchester Airport, as well as other significant economic centres.
You will be expected to lead the next phases of NPR Business Case development, supporting the NPR Director as Scheme Sponsor, developing and leading the programme of business case development post SOBC; and ensuring that NPR is fully integrated into TfN, national and local transport programmes.
What we’re looking for:
The successful candidate will have successful senior management experience in transport demand modelling, forecasting and analysis with a strong knowledge of the transport planning process, experience of transport policy and business case development. You will have an excellent track record of delivering large, complex projects, demonstrating effectiveness in managing complex working relationships with external stakeholders and internal stakeholders at board level.
