Job Role: Licenced Principal Designers & Verifiers Engineer - Signalling

Location: Birmingham, Doncaster or York

Salary: Negotiable (depending on experience)

Summary of the Licenced Principal Designers & Verifiers Engineer:

I am currently recruiting for a Licenced Principal Designers & Verifiers Engineer with a strong signalling and rail background to work for a major Tier 1 rail company based in Birmingham, Doncaster or York on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities for the Licenced Principal Designers & Verifiers Engineer:

The main purpose of this role is to manage and be responsible for the checking and verification of detailed signalling designs and assist with signalling projects.
Provide technical support, mentoring and advice as required in support of the business.
Ensure that all work is delivered in accordance with technical, safety and quality standards.

Requirements for the Licenced Principal Designers & Verifiers Engineer:

Degree educated in an Engineering discipline OR equivalent experience
Previous experience in Railway Signalling Systems (essential)
Knowledge of Railway Signalling practices and principles
Membership of IRSE or other relevant Engineering Institution
1.550 Signalling Principles Designer Licence (essential)
1.160 Signalling Design Verifier Licence (essential)
