ROLE: ELECTRICAL RAIL ESTIMATOR
LOCATION: WEST LONDON
TERM: PERMANENT
THE OPPORTUNITY
Our client, an industry leading employer is seeking to recruit an experienced electrically biased Rail Estimator to support its West London office. The Electrical Rail Estimator will predominantly be supporting Network Rail and London Underground MEP projects.
THE COMPANY
Our client is an industry leader, specialising in industrial, commercials and building services MEP projects. They have been recognised as ones of the UKs fastest growing M&E sub contractors and currently turnover over around £180M.
THE ROLE
The duties and responsibilities of the successful Electrical Rail Estimator will include, but are not limited to;
*Analyse specifications and drawings for the current project.
*Communicate effectively with clients and sub-contractors on site as well as creating reports which will involve visiting sites.
*Produce accurate drawings.
*Be able to handle tender packages.
*Submit and manage all bids for the current project.
*Negotiating discounts with sub-contractors and tender for upcoming projects.
*Arrange any tender review meetings.
THE SUCCESSFUL ELECTRICAL RAIL ESTIMATOR
The successful Electrical Rail Estimator will need to demonstrate the following;
*Extensive experience within the MEP rail sector.
*Good understanding of all Estimating responsibilities.
*Must be able to cover all disciplines.
*Experienced dealing with MEP subcontracts and subcontractors.
*Must be able to work alone and within a well-established team of estimators.
PACKAGE
