As lockdown restrictions ease and we start to consider travelling again, the future of cross-Channel operator Eurostar remains uncertain.
Eurostar is seeking financial support from the UK Government, citing higher access charges here as a reason.
The French Government has pledged to provide support for the operator, while £200 million has been provided by one of its shareholders, Caisse de Dépôt et Placement du Québec (CDPQ) and Hermes Infrastructure.
Registered in the UK and supporting 3,000 jobs either with the business or in the supply chain, the company is, however, 55% owned by SNCF (French state rail), 40% by CDPQ/Hermes and 5% by SNCB (Belgian state railways).

Deputy Rail Interface Manager Responsibilities:

Assisting the rail interface manager with Network Rail (NR) liaison and NR technical assurance in line with NR/CIV/2009 and Ground Movement Assessments for Stage 2 Lots S1 and S2
Support in obtaining information, reviewing and advising the teams on technical documentation
Ensure the NR assurance process is being followed and are being delivered to programme
Support the design teams to produce the correct content and scope to satisfy NR's requirements.
Act as point of contact for the contractor on all NR interface issues with the design teamEssential Competencies:

Has experience of working with NR and understands process as per NR/CIV/2009.
Familiar with the NR rail assurance processes
Multi-discipline project experience.Qualifications & Experience:

Civil Engineer MEng
Familiar with assessment of civil assets and rail infrastructure and ground movement impacts from construction works on 3rd infrastructure Diversity at Arup:
