As lockdown restrictions ease and we start to consider travelling again, the future of cross-Channel operator Eurostar remains uncertain.
Eurostar is seeking financial support from the UK Government, citing higher access charges here as a reason.
The French Government has pledged to provide support for the operator, while £200 million has been provided by one of its shareholders, Caisse de Dépôt et Placement du Québec (CDPQ) and Hermes Infrastructure.
Registered in the UK and supporting 3,000 jobs either with the business or in the supply chain, the company is, however, 55% owned by SNCF (French state rail), 40% by CDPQ/Hermes and 5% by SNCB (Belgian state railways).

Our Assistants, will provide a First-class service to our customers whilst ensuring their safety at all times.

They will Pro-actively seek to help customers through clear communication and fantastic customer service.

You may be required to undertake roles such as bus replacement, crowd control and ticket checking. We will endeavour to place you at your nearest station however there will be times you will be required to travel at other stations, a FREE duty pass will be provided to you to enable free travel! So flexibility is key, you must able to open to working at below stations;

This is an ongoing temporary role, hours may vary from week to week - there are various different shift times. The earliest start time is 6am and the latest finish time is 10pm. There are various shift times through out the day.

Responsibilities:

. Delivering excellent customer service by responding to customer enquiries as quickly and efficiently as possible.

. Report any incidents and undertake measures to ensure the safety of the station.

.. Wear uniform and I.D badge when working on shift and travelling to and from that shift

Experience

We are looking for people who have a strong background in Customer Service. You need to be an effective communicator as this is a customer facing role and some of the situations you are dealing with may be difficult ones therefore, excellent listening skills are required.

Training will be given in all aspects of the role.
