Consultancy Rail lead required, Bristol!

A contemporary, forward thinking Civil and Structural Engineering consultancy in Bristol is now looking for an experienced engineer from a consultancy rail background  to lead their talented Bristol team. The business has offices across the country and has a growing team of 25 staff in Bristol. This office covers Rail, Buildings, temporary works, development infrastructure and Geotechnical.

This role would be primarily focused on leading the Rail operations for the Bristol office and for the right candidate, the company as a whole. You should be prepared to take a senior position at the head of a team of 30 rail staff and liaise across;  Building Structures and Temporary works.

This strategy has opened several markets to them and as a result of this they have a strong pipeline and as such, great job security.

Projects and key clients largely revolve around bridges and include;

HS2
Transport for Wales
Network rail
Under/overbridge
Rail arches
Aqueducts
Over roads
Stations such as Bristol Temple Meads
Repairs and assessments
New builds
Footbridges
Responsibilities will include:

Personally managing client queries
Pricing on projects
Business Development (for the right candidate)
Project delivery in accordance to timeline and specification and assisting on larger schemes
Mentoring and developing junior members of the team
Leading a design team of structural engineers and BIM Technicians
Liaising with clients, architects and contractors and maintaining relationships
