We have been requested by a key client of ours to recruit 3 Managing Quantity Surveyors to join them in 3 separate locations to work on a huge Network Rail framework which will be coming in from April 2019. My client want to hit the ground running and want to recruit for these lead positions first to then build the team around the successful candidates.

My client are a huge principle contractor who are extremely busy with a huge pipeline of work in numerous sectors including rail, highways and civil engineering.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Managing Quantity Surveyor to be part of and manage a key section of a huge Network Rail framework for a leading contractor.

Your duties will include:

Build and manage the commercial team within your location
Liase with Network Rail in order to deliver the CP6 workbank
To ensure the administration of the contract for each commission is effectively carried out

In order to qualify for the role you must have:

Experience working as a Managing Quantity Surveyor or higher for a civil engineering contractor
Experience working on rail or civil engineering projects is essential
NEC experience is essential
Longevity shown of recent assignments
A degree and/or RICS, ICES etc is desirable
