Southeastern rolls out new information displays to 13 stations

Southeastern has spent £200,000 on installing 21 additional information displays at stations across its network, in order to provide better real-time information for passengers.

The displays provide real-time messages as well as service updates on all routes.

Stations to be included in the investment include Ramsgate, Hither Green, Ashford International, New Cross, Sidcup, Tonbridge and Orpington.

The train operator hopes that the screens will be able to provide better information on the Thameslink Project and special events such as the Rugby World Cup in September.

Southeastern Passenger Services Director Barbara Thomas said: “We’re really pleased to install these additional information displays at a number of our stations. We know real-time information is really important to our passengers and providing extra displays at our stations will further improve the way we do this.

“These further screens will make a huge difference and help ensure passengers are informed about their train services quickly and accurately.”
