‘Pretendolino’ moves to Anglia

The off-lease rake of Mk 3s last used by Virgin Trains on the West Coast Main Line on October 24, arrived at Norwich Crown Point on November 24. It is to be used as a ‘hot spare’ and will enter traffic following modifications. Work began on the coaches as soon as they arrived.

The coaching stock concerned is Kitchen Buffet First (RFM) 10212, Open First (FO) 11007/018/064, Standard Open (TSO) 12011/078, 12122/133/138 and Driving Van Trailer (DVT) 82126.

    More clapped out hand-me-downs for us as usual. Can't remember when the main line in East Anglia was allocated new stock!!
