GB Railfreight expects 59003 Yeoman Highlander to be ready for traffic at the end of February or beginning of March.
The Class 59 was bought from German-based Heavy Haul Power International (HHPI) on August 19 2014, and repatriated from Germany on October 9 2014. It left the UK for Germany in 1997.
The locomotive is currently being re-activated for UK use at Arlington Fleet Services’ Eastleigh Works.
